Seven steps, no surprises. Here's exactly what happens and what it costs.
Filter by breed, state, price, and verification tier. Tier criteria are published, so you know whether "verified" meant an ID check or a full health-testing and facility review.
Tell the breeder about your home. Good breeders screen buyers carefully, and you should expect questions back.
Your inquiry opens a conversation with the breeder right away. Ask anything, trade photos, and plan a visit. When the breeder accepts, you can pay a deposit to reserve. Keeping the talk and the payments here is what keeps you covered, so phone numbers (and videos) are shared once the puppy is paid in full.
The deposit amount, the refund policy, and the exact service fee are all shown before you enter card details. The refund terms lock to your transaction and can’t be changed afterward.
Both payments run through Stripe, by card or bank transfer. The service fee is charged once per sale, never per installment. It’s split proportionally across the two payments, so you see part of it on the deposit and the rest on the balance, and the total is the same either way.
Health certificate, vaccination records, and registration papers attach to the transaction. Download them any time and forward to your own vet.
Once you confirm the puppy is home, a 3-day window starts. If no dispute is filed, funds release to the breeder automatically. No one at the company has to approve it.
Families pay the puppy's price plus a one-time service fee of $50 to $250, depending on the price. It's on every puppy's page from the start, not sprung on you at checkout, and there's no extra charge for splitting payment into a deposit and a balance.
If you and the breeder agree to cancel, you're refunded what you paid for the puppy. The service fee isn't refundable.
Either side can file a dispute from the transaction page. Filing one immediately pauses any scheduled payout. Both parties submit evidence, including messages, photos and vet records, and both parties can see everything submitted. Our team responds within 48 hours, and any resolution comes with a written explanation, not a silent account action. Resolutions can be appealed within 7 days.
